Restaurants in the Beemster, close to the bubble tent
The Beemster has surprisingly good restaurants. From a quiet dinner built on local produce to a quick bite before you drive back to the forest. These are the places we recommend ourselves.

BRASA Beemster
Middenbeemstera 5-minute drive
A restaurant and boutique hotel in a former townhouse from 1826, on the site of the old town hall. A wide lunch and dinner menu with meat, fish and inventive vegetarian dishes. Also known for its high tea and high wine. A good choice for a romantic dinner close to the bubble tent.
1612 Restaurant & Lounge
Noordbeemsteran 8-minute drive
A country restaurant in the heart of the Beemster. The kitchen runs on fresh local produce: Beemster cheese, dairy from Jersey cows and the local Beemster Valery potato. There is a terrace and a lounge. Open daily from 11am.
't Beemster Spijshuis
Middenbeemstera 5-minute drive
A warm eetcafé (the Dutch cross between a pub and a restaurant) in the centre of Middenbeemster. A good place for an honest lunch or an easy dinner. The menu changes regularly and the staff are welcoming. A fine option on an evening when you would rather not cook.
Restobar Rooie Sien
Purmerendan 11-minute drive
A popular spot on the Koemarkt square in Purmerend. Restaurant, bar, café and gastropub under one roof.
Opening hours and menus do change. Have a quick look at the venue's own site before you set off.
